How the free plan works and when to upgrade

Every new provvio account starts on the Free plan, no credit card required.

What's Included

The Free plan gives you everything you need to get started:

  • 1 user
  • 3 active sites (archived sites don't count!)
  • 20 visits per month
  • Ad-hoc visits only
  • Basic PDF reports
  • GPS check-in/out
  • Photo evidence

When to Upgrade

You'll naturally outgrow the Free plan when:

  • You hire someone and need more than 1 user → Starter ($29/mo)
  • You have more than 3 clients/sites → Starter ($29/mo)
  • You need basic scheduling → Starter ($29/mo)
  • You need branded reports, client portal, or recurring schedules → Professional ($99/mo)
  • You need white-label reports or the full package → Business ($249/mo)

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Choose your plan
  3. Enter payment details
  4. You're upgraded instantly

Your Data is Always Safe

Your data is never deleted, even on the Free plan. If you downgrade, your data remains accessible within the Free plan limits.

Maximising Your Free Plan

Here's a key tip for free tier users:

Archive sites to free up your 3-site limit! When you complete a one-off job or finish a project, archive that site. Archived sites don't count toward your plan limits, but all visit history is preserved. This lets you work with many more clients while staying on the Free plan.

Tips

  • Start with the Free plan and explore the core features
  • Set up real clients and sites to get a true feel for the platform
  • Use Quick Check-In for one-off visits, then archive the site afterward
  • Archive seasonal clients or completed projects to stay within the 3-site limit
  • Upgrade when you're ready, no pressure
