Onboarding Walkthrough
The 5-step setup wizard explained
When you first log into provvio, you'll be guided through a 5-step onboarding wizard. This helps you set up everything you need to start using the platform right away.
Step 1: Organisation Details
Enter your business information:
- Business name: Your organisation name in provvio
- Phone number: Optional, used for contact details
- Industry: Used to automatically create relevant checklist templates and service types
Step 2: Add Your First Client
Create your first client record:
- Client name: The company or person you service
- Contact name: Primary contact person
- Contact email: Where reports will be sent
Step 3: Create a Site
Set up your first site:
- Site name: e.g., "123 Main Street - Level 2"
- Address: The physical location
- Assign to client: Link it to the client you just created
Step 4: Invite Your Team
Add team members who will be doing field work:
- Email addresses: Up to 3 team members during onboarding
- They'll receive invitation emails to set up their accounts
- They can then download the mobile app to start checking in
Step 5: Choose Your Plan
Select the plan that fits your business:
- Review plan features and pricing
- Start with Free plan (no credit card required)
- Upgrade anytime when you're ready for more features
Tip: You can skip any step and come back to it later from the dashboard. The onboarding wizard is there to help, not to block you. Checklist templates are automatically created based on your industry selection. You can customize them later from the dashboard.
After Onboarding
Once complete, you'll land on your dashboard where you can see an overview of your business activity. The sidebar menu gives you access to all features.
