Team Member Availability

Set when each crew member is available

Availability tells provvio when each crew member is reachable for work. It feeds into scheduling so managers can see at a glance who's around on a given day.

Where Availability Lives

  • Mobile (self-service): the Profile tab on the mobile app
  • Web (managers): the Team page on the dashboard - open a member to view or edit their availability

What You Can Set

For each day of the week:

  • Available with a start and end time (e.g. Monday 7 am - 4 pm)
  • Unavailable for the whole day

If hours are consistent across every day, switch to Always available instead of setting each day.

How It's Used

  • Schedule views highlight when a member is unavailable
  • Recurring jobs assigned to a member can warn if the chosen day is outside their availability
  • The team performance leaderboard (Pro) factors in availability when comparing utilisation

Tips

  • Field workers can update their own availability from the Profile tab
  • Managers can override availability when needed - it's a planning tool, not a hard block
  • Keep availability current as people change shifts or move on
