Installing the App
Download and set up the provvio mobile app
The provvio mobile app is the best way for your field team to check in, complete checklists, and take photos on-site.
Download
- iPhone/iPad: Download from the App Store
- Android: Download from the Google Play Store
Search for "provvio" in your app store.
Setting Up
- Open the app after installing
- Tap Sign In
- Enter your email and password (the same credentials you use on the web)
- You're in!
Permissions
The app will ask for a few permissions:
- Location: Required for GPS check-in/out verification. Select "Allow While Using App"
- Camera: Required for taking photos during visits
- Notifications: Recommended for job reminders and alerts
Important: Location access is essential for provvio to work properly. Without it, GPS verification won't be possible.
Staying Logged In
The app keeps you logged in so you don't need to enter your password every time. If you're logged out:
- Check you have an internet connection
- Try logging in again
- Contact your admin if you've forgotten your password
Tips
- Keep the app updated for the latest features and bug fixes
- Enable notifications so you don't miss job assignments
- Make sure location services are set to "While Using App" for the best GPS accuracy
