Offline Mode

provvio is designed to work even when you don't have internet access. This is important for sites in basements, remote areas, or buildings with poor reception.

How Offline Mode Works

When you lose internet connection:

• You can still check in to a site
• You can still complete checklist items
• You can still take photos
• You can still add notes
• You can still check out

All data is saved locally on your device and synced automatically when you're back online.

What You'll See

When offline:

• An offline indicator appears at the top of the screen
• Everything works normally, but data won't sync until you're back online
• A sync queue shows how many items are waiting to be uploaded

Syncing

When your internet connection returns:

1. The app automatically starts syncing
2. All check-in/out data, checklist completions, notes, and photos are uploaded
3. A sync complete notification confirms everything is uploaded
4. Reports are generated and sent after sync

Tips

• Don't worry about losing data: everything is saved on your device first
• Sync happens automatically, you don't need to do anything
• If you have a large number of photos to sync, connect to Wi-Fi for faster uploads
• GPS data is captured locally even when offline
